A History of Right to Work in New Hampshire


As union carpenters in New Hampshire “educate, agitate and organize” to defeat the so-called “Right-to-Work” bill currently under consideration in the the legislature, New Hampshire Public Radio has produced a useful overview and history of the issue there.

The piece includes arguments from groups opposing and supporting the bill and economic opinions. There are some basics that are clear: RTW decreases both union membership and overall wages in states that have it.
