Out with the old, in with the new! The digital media LED display is being replaced this week at the North Atlantic States Carpenters union headquarters, just off of Interstate 93 in Boston.

Everyone traveling north on 93 sees the digital display. And that’s a lot of people! The original 20’ x 30’ signage was installed in 2010 by SNA Displays, and more than a decade later, SNA is back at the Carpenters Center to install a like-for-like replacement but with enhanced capabilities including superior brightness, contrast, and image quality, and greater energy efficiency. A national leader in the architectural signage industry, and a signatory contractor to the union, Poblocki Sign Company, is doing the installation.

The LED display’s main function is to promote the union and our work and partnerships in the industry. But as an organization that values the role we play in local communities; it’s occasionally made available for promotional messages generated by outside groups.

As a union, we’re always looking further ahead by painting a picture of the future that captures both heads and hearts, and while we’re focused on tangible outcomes, we’re also driven by hope and creating opportunities.
