Union Carpenters are needed now more than ever

New England, we’ve got work to do. With historic investment in infrastructure, renewable energy and manufacturing projects, union carpenters are needed now more than ever.

More than $30 billion is being spent on building projects over the next decade, all over New England, from Maine to Massachusetts and with still more to come. Many of these projects will take years to complete, meaning steady work over the medium- to long-term. This work will take a generation – so get involved now to make sure you can build something for yourself along the way.

Major upcoming projects in your region include:
• Floating Offshore Wind Turbines (North Atlantic – Coastal Massachusetts & Maine)
• Roux Institute (Portland, ME)
• Municipal Infrastructure (Manchester, NE)
• Road & Bridge Work (Statewide)

From green energy to the infrastructure that supports our cities and towns, our members will play a vital role in building New England’s future.

We’re proactively training for the skills, knowledge and tools of tomorrow to ensure the most professional and productive workforce.

We are committed to cultivating a diverse workforce grounded in a deep respect for one another. By standing together and bargaining collectively with employers, union workers gain the power to negotiate a fair wage–a power that individual workers do not have.

Being part of the union means:
● Working with a team that has your back
● Earning a steady income with healthcare to support your family
● Planning for the future and retiring with dignity
● Keeping your skills sharp and becoming more valuable to employers throughout your career–our nine state-of-the-art training facilities deliver everything our members and industry demand, including crafts specifically required in the tech economy

Building a Stronger Future, Together

While some wait for the future to come to them, the North Atlantic States Regional Council of Carpenters is taking steps now to proactively shape where we go next. And, just as a building begins with a blueprint, our future begins with a shared vision.
