Union carpenters are leading the way in the growing use of mass timber for commercial construction across North America. Through advanced training, hands-on experience, and strong industry partnerships, our members are prepared to meet the demands of this evolving sector.

At the Cornell University ILR School Climate Jobs Institute Mass Timber Sustainable Energy Summit this week in Albany, NASRCC’s Jim Mason served as a panelist alongside Assemblymember Didi Barrett. Brother Mason highlighted the need for mass timber construction and the positive impact it has on sustainable building and housing throughout New York State.
