Carpenters will lobby for two bills that are currently in the RI General Assembly: one which would make wage theft a felony and the UBC up-the-chain legislation.

The Carpenters will hold a press conference at the State House around wage theft and tax fraud, focusing on our two bills to help combat wage theft and tax fraud in our industry. The lead sponsors of these bills will speak on the importance of it and how everyone in attendance can push the bills along.
