Bill Banfield, Assistant to the Executive Secretary-Treasurer of the North Atlantic States Regional Council of Carpenters, is retiring from the union, effective July 31, 2025.
A 39-year member of Carpenters union, Banfield has served in various roles at the UBC, local union, and regional council levels as well as on numerous benefit funds since 1996. He was most recently elected to the NASRCC Executive Board as Vice President in 2024 and serves as Regional Manager for NASCAR-affiliated local unions in New York.
“Bill’s integrity and his dedication to the union, our members and our signatory employers has never been in doubt,” said Joe Byrne, Executive Secretary-Treasurer. “On behalf of the entire union, I thank him for his years of service and wish him a long and healthy retirement with his family.”
