2025 Scholarship Recipients

The top two prize winners, Zuzanna Hitchcock and Cristian Oliveira, each received $7,500. Zuzanna Hitchcock will be a sophomore at Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Service this fall. Her father, Daniel Hitchcock, is a member of Local 336. Cristian Oliveira will be a senior Worcester Polytechnic Institute. His father, Philip Mobley, is a member of Local 56.
Each year, the NASRCC awards scholarships to members in good standing and children of members in good standing who are enrolled in post high school education. This year, $84,000 was given in varying amounts to 76 winners. Awards are funded by the general fund to help members with the ever-increasing costs of higher education.
The North Atlantic States Regional Council of Carpenters is committed to improving the lives of its members and their families. One way that we accomplish this is through our annual NASRCC Scholarship Program. Scholarships are available to dependents of members (or members themselves) who plan to attend an accredited two or four-year college/university or vocational program.
In the last five years, $450,000 was given in varying amounts to winning applicants. Awards are funded by the general fund to help members with the ever-increasing costs of higher education.

Applications may be filled out online. Applicants will need to upload proof of enrollment, a copy of their transcript and other information in the online form.
This year’s scholarship program includes a service requirement rather than an essay component. Applicants must complete and verify their activity or activities when submitting their application. Learn more about qualifying activities.
Applications must be received by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, June 13, 2025. Anything received after this time will not be accepted.
